Black & White In Chelsea

I visited London a few times, but never been to Chelsea district.

This time we went there and I loved it. 

King’s Road is located in this district and here you can find high street brands as French Connection, Jigsaw.

If you are looking for more luxurious brands, walk down Sloane Street and you’ll meet the most famous designer shops from Celine, Chloe, Valentino to Gucci…

This area is ideal for retail therapy 🙂

I was wearing basic pieces: a v-neck t-shirt paired with jeans, heels and statement necklace. You never go wrong when it comes to basics.

Monochrome Trend

One of the most popular trends nowadays is monochrome – black and white combination has been upgraded to a whole new level.

It works in many ways as it is a classic and smart look. For a more classic look, combine it with neutral colours ( black, white, nude ).

Glam it up with a splash of colour – add either a pair of bright heels, bag or wear a red hot lipstick.

Mayfair & HydePark

 Mayfair is amongst one of my favourite districts in London. In this area you can admire the beautiful architecture and its a great place to escape from the crowded Oxford Street. Whenever I visit London, the first place to go to is Mayfair, I just love to walk in this area.

A lot of high brands come together in Mayfair from Lanvin to Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs and the list continues…If you wanna splurge, here you can definitely do it in a more calmer, relaxed way.

After Mayfair we headed to Hyde Park, which is unbelievably beautiful and huge.

I was wearing my newly purchased coat from Cos, which is simple and elegant in the same time, paired it with a relaxed blouse, black coated trousers and heels. While we were exploring the area I was wearing flats, so for a more casual, relaxed look I just slip into my flats and I’m good to go 🙂

Let’s FALL In Love

As I mentioned it several times my favorite season is Fall. It is a great time for fashion, this particular season is ideal for layering, which I absolutely adore.

You can ditch the flip-flops, sandals and bring on the ballet flats, high heels, ankle and high boots. Also the cardigans, sweaters, jackets and scarves are playing a huge part in Fall. These pieces can keep you warm and chic in the same time. Wearing a t-shirt under a sweater or cardigan is ideal for Fall, mixing it up with either  jeans, trousers or even a maxi skirt and you can finish it with a pair of ankle boots.

Basically Chic

Basic fashion items doesn’t mean necessarily boring. When it comes building a solid wardrobe, you need to invest in basic pieces, which can be incorporated in your outfits almost every season. Whenever a new season comes, I always look for basics as I can easily wear them throughout the seasons.

Here are a few basics, which cannot be missed in your wardrobe.

• T-shirts – neutral or striped – casual, easy to wear and stylish piece. For a casual, relaxed look – wear it with jeans and ballet flats, for a more edgier, bold look pair with leathers and high heels.
• Jeans – a versatile item – can be worn every season – from a casual to a glam look.
• Tailored Blazer McGinn Women’s Reagan Blazer – classic, feminine piece – worn with jeans, skirts, shorts or dresses.
  
• Ballet Flats STEVEN by Steve Madden Women’s Envd Ballet Flat  – they go basically with everything from jeans, shorts to cute dresses.

For my latest look, I wore my favorite Cos white T-shirt and paired with skinny jeans, black heels and blazer. The outfit is simple, but yet elegant, the elegance is given by the heels, for a casual look, just switch the heels to flats and you are good to go.

 Denim shorts, similar here: MANGO Women’s Ripped Denim Shorts are very popular this summer and they can be worn in so many ways.

For a casual / relaxed look pair them with either a tank top or t-shirt and finish the look by wearing flats, sandals or booties.

Add a feminine touch to it for a more glamourous / chicer look and mix them with a silky button down shirt and heeled sandals.

For my latest outfit I opted for a more feminine look and paired my shorts with a white blouse and heeled sandals.

 Today’s look is an elegant one, the colors are mostly neutral except for the blue scalloped shorts. 

Why it works: the blazer makes the outfit elegant & classy. The blazer is a very versatile piece, can be worn with almost everything from jeans to skirts, dresses, shorts. 

Where to wear it: the outfit works for many occasions – from an office look to an after work get together, but it can be worn for a date night, dinner.
